Supporting Youth Reading

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
An adventure in literature starts at birth with the very first book a family reads to their child. We help support the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library that provides a book to a child from birth to 5 years of age.

Claudia's Garden
We've lined up a series of engaging books for kindergarteners to receive free to ensure every kindergartener has a free book of their own. Our members use donation and fundraiser funds to continue a child's love of books at a kindergarten level. "Claudia's Garden" was started by a St.Helens Kiwanis member who was a teacher and saw that many children did not have a book of their own. This event is designed to spark a passion for readi and a sense of ownership in their education.

3rd Grade Thesaurus
To continue nurturing the education through reading our club provides thesauruses to all of the 3rd graders in St.Helens and Columbia City public school system.

Raise Money

Fundraising activities are essential for supporting the work of non-profits and community groups. They not only raise vital funds but also enhance community engagement and awareness.
